Amelia Island Angel 15

Amelia Island Angels are as unique as the island they are named for. These one of a kind heirloom quality Angels are lovingly handmade by Pam to remind everyone that their own special Guardian Angels are alway watching over them.

Beautiful plates are selected and then cut to accentuate the pattern in the plate. A matching glas nugget is chosen for the head and colorful stained glass is cut into wing shapes. Baby Angels have not yet grown their wings. Once all the pieces are cut, a grinder is used to smooth all the rough edges, then the copper foil is applied and burnished on to each piece. The pieces are soldered together along with the twisted wire halo. Decorative solding accents are added and sometimes wire curls are also added. Finally she gets a bath and is polished.

Amelia Island Angels are the perfect gift for all occasion, happy or sad. The halo also acts as her hanger and she looks equally beautiful on a wall, in a window, on a mirror or on a Christmas Tree.

This special Angel measures approx. 5" x 4". Her head is a Christmas green nugget wrapped in lead came and her wings were made from bright red stained glass. Her dress was made from a textured clear depression glass plate. The perfect Christmas Angel!

This special Angel measures approx. 7.25" x 6.5". Her head is an iridized pale blue glass nugget wrapped in lead came and her wings were made from creamy iridized Stained glass. She also has curly hair. The Angels on her dress are called "Faith and Charity". This is a limited edition plate (originally heart shaped) by Thomas Cathey. 1994 #1688A

Shrimp Cocktail for Two

This whimsical stained glass panel is a one of a kind design by Pam. It not only brings the everlasting beauty of stained glass into a room it also brings a smile to the faces of all who see it. There are wire overlays on the lemon slices and glass nugetts are glued to the panel for bubbles. It is framed in zinc and ready to adorn any window. It measures approx. 22.5" x 18".
